NO, UNFORTUNATELY WE DON'T HAVE A LIQUOR LICENSE SO WE WORK AS BYO BUT WE CAN RECOMMEND SOME AMAZING BREWERIES AND WINERIES AND HELP YOU ARRANGE ALL YOUR ALCOHOL ORDERS. WE WILL REDIRECT THE PAYMENTS TO THE SUPPLIERS AND WE CAN ALSO PICK EVERYTHING UP, HAVE YOUR DRINKS READY FOR YOU AND YOUR GUESTS AND THEN RETURN THE KEGS. THIS WILL HELP YOU TO SAVE MONEY AND TIME!

 

CAN I ORGANISE MY OWN ALCOHOL?

OF COURSE YOU CAN. WE WILL ONLY NEED TO KNOW THE DETAILS OF YOUR SELECTIONS AT LEAST ONE MONTH PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT SO WE CAN GET PREPARED WITH THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT.

 

DO YOU DO SPIRITS/COCKTAILS?

YES, WE DO. WE CAN PREPARE A SPIRIT/COCKTAIL PACKAGE TO SUIT YOU BEST. WE HAVE NOW A NEW TIMBER BAR AVAILABLE PERFECT FOR INDOOR AREAS AND FOR A SPIRIT/COCKTAIL SERVICE, GET IN TOUCH FOR MORE INFO.

 

DO YOU OFFER TABLE SERVICE?

NOT REALLY. WE WOULD DEFINITELY COLLECT AND WASH ALL THE GLASSES AND REPLACE BOTTLES WHEN NEEDED BUT WE PREFER NOT TO.  IF THIS IS SOMETHING YOU REALLY WANT, WE CAN DISCUSS IT (ADDITIONAL STAFF WILL BE NEEDED).

WE ARE BASED ON THE SOUTH COAST OF NSW, BUT THAT DOESNT LIMIT US TO ONE AREA. WHEREVER OUR MOBILE TAPROOMS CAN GO, WE CAN GO!

 

CAN WE CELEBRATE IN A PARK?

IF YOU WISH TO HOLD YOUR EVENT IN ANY PLACE OTHER THAN A PRIVATE VENUE, IT IS THE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS AND PERMISSION. THESE ALL MUST BE SUPPLIED TO US AT LEAST 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT DATE.

*KECHUA HOLDS NO RESPONSIBILITY IF PERMITS ARE NOT OBTAINED BUT WE WILL TRY TO HELP YOU IN ANY WAY WE CAN.

 

CAN YOU GET A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE? 

100%! WE HAVE ALREADY OBTAINED TEMPORARY LICENSES FOR DIFFERENTS EVENTS LIKE A REGIONAL DRESSAGE COMPETITION, A FITNESS FESTIVAL IN JERVIS BAY AND MARKETS. TO APPLY FOR ONE WE WILL NEED ALL THE RIGHT INFORMATION AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DAY.
 

DO YOUR MOBILE TAPROOMS REQUIRE POWER? 

YES. OUR BEER SYSTEM, FREEZERS, AND LIGHTS ALL REQUIRE 240V. WE CAN ALSO PROVIDE A GENERATOR SO YOU CAN CELEBRATE ANYWHERE!

ARE KEGS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BOTTLES?

NOT AT ALL! KEGS ARE CHEAPER THAN BOTTLES AND LESS MESS (WHO WANTS PHOTOS WITH BOTTLES IN THE BACKGROUND?). WHEN YOU PURCHASE YOUR KEGS THEY ARE YOUR PERSONAL KEGS. WE WILL LOOK AFTER THEM AND MINIMISE ANY WASTE.

 

1x 50L KEG (FULL KEG) = 115 SCHOONER GLASSES BEING ON AVERAGE LESS THAN $2  P/SCHOONER. SOME BREWERIES ALSO OFFER 19L KEGS (HALF KEGS).

 

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF LEFTOVERS?

MOST BREWERIES/BEER COMPANIES ARE PRETTY FLEXIBLE WITH KEG'S RETURNS SO WE CAN ARRANGE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS IF REQUESTED:

- KECHUA GROWLERS: $40 each 
- KEG PISTOL PURCHASE: $150

- KEG PISTOL HIRE: $70 (30 DAYS HIRE)

 

HOW MANY KEGS WILL I NEED?

REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A GUIDE. YOU KNOW YOUR GUESTS BETTER THAN WE DO SO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE FACT THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE PEOPLE THAT ARE THIRSTIER THAN OTHERS.

- 50 PEOPLE: 1 x 50L KEG

- 100 PEOPLE: 2 x 50L KEGS

- 150 PEOPLE: 4 x 50L KEGS

PLEASE NOTE A 30% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING, FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT ALONG WITH CONFIRMATION OF GUESTS NUMBERS. AT THIS STAGE, A $500 BOND WILL BE REQUIRED WHICH IS REFUNDED 5 DAYS AFTER YOUR EVENT IF THERE ARE NO DAMAGES. 

 

ARE THERE ANY CANCELLATION FEES?

Unfortunately, YES THERE ARE. ONCE WE BOOK A DATE FOR YOU IT'S TOTALLY YOURS SO IF IT'S CANCELLED WE RUN THE RISK OF MISSING OTHER BOOKINGS. WE ARE HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE DATE BUT DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
